Wolves are known as a sleeping giant, mainly because they play outside of the top flight, their stadium holds more than 15,000 fans, and they haven't won anything of note for nearly 30 years. They spent one season in the Premiership but decided to return to the Championship, partly because the supporters wouldn't have been able to cope with the stress of constant relegation battles, but mostly because the fans couldn't afford Premiership Pies. The modern day team is notable only for the fact that they draw most of their matches and always finish 7th in the Championship no matter how well or how shit they play. This statistic does not apply when a smug northerner interferes with fate and leads the team to the heady heights of 5th.
