Vidiprinter
From ARFOPEDIA
The most CULT part of Grandstand. Chiming in about half four (although the proper time is, ofc 4.40, just after the Rugby Union/Rugby League/Gymnastics from Glasgow) with a list of all the latest results, goals and red cards. Will correct itself when there is a mistake, and will also spell out high scores in CAPITALISED WORDS so you are sure it is not an error.
The old blue version from the 80s/90s was best, with flashing cursor and comical 'printing' sound, and the number of score draws italicised in a HUGE GREY BOX in the corner.
Currently, the vidiprinter is very small, just a few lines at the bottom of the screen, meaning we end up having to put up with the sight in spite of slight spritely sites of shite like Carlton Palmer and Garth Crooks as well as hearing their shit views on the game.
The vidiprinter is always followed by the Classified Football Results.
