In 1978, The Mike7 Show premiered on BBC1 at 9:00pm.

The premise of the show was that the host, Mike7, would knock on doors and ask people to sample the delights of his massive hat, often causing heart attacks, strokes, liver failure and jealousy.

Audiences lapped up the jovial fun, and the chance to watch in glee as Mike7 would unfurl his astronomical hat.

It was cancelled in 1982 after Mike7 killed JUST TOO MANY PEOPLE WITH SMALL HATS, like Irish Jay.
