Hong Kong is the only civilised part of south-east Asia, thanks mainly to its many proud years as a colony of England. The Queen allowed China to believe that they were taking over in 1999.

They get their own entry at the Olympics, in return only ever giving the world Marco Fu

The island is small and semi-autonomous.
