Board formed in April 2002 to fill the void left by the closure of FCPU.

Considered by many to be the golden age of the community in its early years, DD was owned and run by interweb legend Spongy.

DD was known for its strong userbase, with heavyweights like Olly, Mike7, Lord Lovebucket, Wicom, we8themags, Dizzy and Bozz at the peak of their posting powers.

Several now established users made their debuts on DD, among them Rekwob Toille and SteveH.

Several now established cunts were driven out during the DD days, among them Wiganer and Biff.

Institutions like the Goodest League and Super Tennis tournaments were started on DD. For a while retardwatch became the most talked about thread on the internet.

Sadly near the end, DD began to fall off. Many people have tried to pinpoint the moment when this started to happen, and almost universially the finger of blame is pointed at MSN and its rise to dominance.

Gradually DD began to show early signs of arrogance, dismissing the creation of new accounts or using the password reminder facility. The abscence of Spongy meant DD's ego began to grow uncontrollably, and in July 2005 Arrogance Forums were set up.

But in a final show of arrogance, DD kept going for a few more months, with only bigardmat and Mr Twazzer looking at it.
