The simplest and possibly greatest game ever played by kids. What Rugby would be if the ball was removed from the game.

[edit] Rules

For British Bulldogs you need a playing field and some people. The playing field should be marked out with whatever is at hand, i.e. bags, jumpers and any painted lines that happen to be handy. There is no set substance for the field, however grass is often preferred to concrete/tarmac.

You start with one person in the middle on their own and everyone else has to run to the other side without getting tackled. Anyone who is tackled OR forced out of the sides of the playing field then goes into the middle for the next turn. This continues until there is one person left. When this person is brought down the other players admiration for him is usually expressed through a pile on.

A successful tackle is when a player is brought down onto the ground.
