After a couple of valiant but failed attempts by his teammates he fouled Claudio Caniggia so hard his boot came off and Caniggia literally vapourised on impact. The foul was so good that the referee decided it was worth a sending-off-and-a-half, awarding Massing a red and then a yellow card. If there had been a fire extinguisher involved, it would have landed half a mile away after vaulting the stands.
