A man pretending to be George Weah phones up Southampton manager Graeme Souness, and tells him he has a cousin called Ali Dia who is the next big thing in football: Souness naturally believes him in the absence of any evidence to the contrary. Souness puts Dia on the bench despite having never seen him play and brings him on as a substitute. Dia almost scores within minutes with his first touch but proceeds to be utter holocaust for the rest of the game. Souness substitutes Dia, realising how sonned he'd been. Dia never played for Southampton again.

Souness sadly no longer continues to manage in the top flight with Newcastle. :*(
